Business Development Director
This is a fully home based and remote role in the US.
Main Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop a network of contacts to attract new clients and research new market opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for increased sales and generate a "pipeline" of sales.
- Participate in industry events, accurately presenting our services to potential clients.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, demos, and conference calls with decision-makers.
- Carefully follow the RFP creation process and act as a point of reference for potential clients.
- Provide feedback and establish business relationships based on client needs.
- Stimulate feedback on projects and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Coordinate timely delivery of services and monitor client satisfaction.
- Monitor project revenue and report deviations.
- Prepare forecasts on sales targets and propose pricing and sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Proactivity, enthusiasm and a go-get attitude.
- University degree educated.
- Proven years of experience in a CRO (biotech, pharma, research institutes experience is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of clinical research.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to quality, flexibility, and propensity for innovation.
- Project management and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Result-oriented and team-working oriented.
